Responsible Growth

With an energy-efficient fibre network, an infrastructure approach that shares resources, digital service and local employment, we aim to be a responsible internet service provider.

Our Approach

An internet service provider’s impact on the environment and society depends largely on the type of network it builds, the way it works and the community it serves. We address sustainability in these three areas with realistic, practical steps.

Energy-Efficient Fibre Network

We build our own network with GPON fibre technology. In this architecture the distribution points between our exchange equipment and your home are passive: the street cabinets draw no power and need no cooling.

A fibre line carries far higher speeds than a copper line, is immune to electromagnetic interference and lasts a long time. That means fewer faults, fewer replacements and fewer field visits.

Growing by Sharing Infrastructure

At addresses our own network does not reach, we serve customers over existing infrastructure instead of laying a second cable in the same street. When building our own network, we use existing routes wherever possible and avoid unnecessary excavation.

Digital and Paperless Service

You can do most things — availability checks, applications, invoice and payment tracking, fault reports and access to contract documents — without visiting a branch, through our website, the customer portal or our WhatsApp line. This saves your travel time and reduces paper use.

Devices and E-Waste

We first try to solve modem and fibre device problems through remote management and software updates, and replace a device only when it is really necessary. We are committed to disposing of electronic devices that reach the end of their life in line with waste legislation.

Local Employment and Safe Work

We build our team mainly from the areas we serve. We give new colleagues on-the-job training and make sure our field teams work with equipment that meets working-at-height and electrical safety rules.

Safe and Informed Internet

With the free Safe Internet Service we provide under BTK regulations, we help families protect their children from harmful content. We keep our subscribers informed about fraud attempts and personal data security.

Responsibility for Data and Privacy

We consider protecting the personal data our subscribers entrust to us and the confidentiality of communications an integral part of sustainability. We explain our approach in detail on our KVKK Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy pages.
