What is a static IP?
Every line that connects to the internet has an IP address. On most lines, this address changes from time to time; with a static IP, the address is assigned to you alone and does not change.
Because the address does not change, you can always reach a device or service that needs to be accessed from outside using the same address. Static IP is an add-on service: it can be added to your business line as well as to your home internet.

What is the difference between a static IP and a dynamic IP?
A dynamic IP may change whenever the connection is renewed; a static IP is assigned to you alone and does not change. If you have no device or service that needs to be accessed from outside, a dynamic IP is usually sufficient.
Does my business need a static IP?
Yes, if you use cameras, a server, a VPN or software that requires IP authorization. It is not needed just for browsing, email and cloud applications.
How many addresses can I get?
Business 1 Gbps includes 1 address, and you can get additional addresses. We meet larger IP block requirements with a quote.
Can I add a static IP to my home internet?
Yes, static IP can also be added to home internet as an add-on service; the monthly fee is 200 ₺. To request it, call our call center.
How is it charged?
The monthly fee for a static IP is 200 ₺; on Business 1 Gbps the first address is free. The fee is added to your monthly bill.
Does a static IP reduce security?
A static address always appears in the same place from outside. We recommend changing your device passwords, closing ports you do not use and using a firewall.
